Warner Brothers has released a new poster for The Losers. As most everyone guessed, it’s been based on the updated photo that was based on jock’s original cover art.

There’s also a new synopsis for the movie:

An explosive action tale of betrayal and revenge, The Loserscenters around the members of an elite Special Forces unit sent to the Bolivian jungle on a search and destroy mission. But the team-Clay, Jensen, Roque, Pooch and Cougar-soon find that they have become the target of a deadly double cross, instigated from the inside by a powerful enemy known only as Max.

Making good use of the fact that they are now presumed dead, the group goes deeply undercover in a dangerous plot to clear their names and even the score with Max. They are joined by the mysterious Aisha, a beautiful operative with her own agenda, who is more than capable of scoring a few points of her own. Working together, when they’re not arguing amongst themselves, they have to stay one step ahead of the globetrotting Max-a ruthless man bent on embroiling the world in a new high-tech global war for his own benefit. If they can take down Max and save the world at the same time, it’ll be a win win for the team now known as The Losers.

One movie I forgot in my most anticipated films of 2010 poll was Days of Wrath. Though it was filmed in 2007 this is another Jeffrey Dean Morgan movie we have yet to see.  It looks though like it’s due for theatrical release later this year. The website has even been updated with new graphics and a Fall 2010 release date.

There was even a Days of Wrath video game developed, but I can’t see any release date for it.

You may remember that last May Adriana Trigiani, author of the Big Stone Gap books, mentioned in an interview that Jeffrey Dean Morgan would be part of the cast of the movie adaptation.

Nothing ever came of it, but it seems to be back in the news, with the author saying Jeffrey Dean Morgan is “possibility.”

And what of the character she wants him to play? Here’s a description from a JDM fan -

“Jack MacChesney is the sexy mild-mannered coal miner who’s the love interest of the protagonist. Most of the book focuses on how big and manly he is and what a nice backside he has, so…I say they cast the right man for the job, yes?”

Obviously this is a romantic comedy. Is this something you want to see Jeffrey Dean Morgan do again?
