Interesting article. I think over-emphasizing it would be a mistake and I think and know rape and attempted rape are extremely serious, so it would make sense to give it more time, but I really hope it’s only a minute because I know for me it is definitely one of the scenes I am kinda dreading to watch even though I know it’s coming.

As for the poster, I wish it didn’t have to mention 300 and whut up with that weird smoke covering the Comedian’s eye? Lol. Overall, pretty freaking awesome!

Great poster! Anxiously awaiting the movie. Not sure if putting the full rape scene in the movie will make it better, but just looking forward to seeing the movie!!!!!! The book was very good, I just want to see how well they adapted it into movie form Thanks a bunch

I agree with you about the 300 line. We get it – he’s visionary! I can think of a few directors who are more visionary…

I hope the scene isn’t too graphic either. I don’t really like to see violence like that.

*nods and though he’s done 300 and now Watchmen, I will wait to call him visionary until I’ve seen other stuff of his because those 2 are amazing pieces of material to work with… and the movies are adaptations, which makes him a great director with a great artistic eye who stays relatively true to material… not necessarily visionary/ random rant:)
