I moseyed on over here today. I've read the book. It was light and sweet, very much a beach type read, written to curl the toes. It's actually pretty funny too. Anyway. It's about a woman who finds out after her mom passes away that who she thought was her father really wasn't. So...that, amongst dealing with life and love in Big Stone Gap, VA. Jack MacChesney is the sexy mild-mannered coal miner who's the love interest of the protagonist.
