This week’s TV Guide features the Top 100 Episodes of All Time!! So where does Jeffrey Dean Morgan land on the list?

Supernatural made the list with “No Rest for the Wicked”. But what about “In My Time of Dying” or “Devil’s Trap”? These are some of the best Supernatural episodes, and not just because Jeffrey Dean Morgan rocks as John Winchester!

So what other television episodes with Jeffrey Dean Morgan should have made the TV Guide list? Devil’s Trap? Weeds’ Dead in the Nethers? Or maybe Sliders’ El Sid, Angel or Walker, Texas Ranger? Which would you choose and why?

I’ll start this – my favourite Jeffrey Dean Morgan guest appearance is his first appearance on JAG. He was funny, he was cute and he had a lot of screentime.

I would have to go with Devil’s Trap, because when I saw “possessed” John for the first time, I so wanted to jump his bones! I’m really embarrassed to admit to that, but he got me all hot and bothered!!! *wipes forehead*
It was a side to Jeffrey I had never seen before and not since, and it was chilling, exciting, sexy as hell and awesome!

I also love In My Time Of Dying, especially the scene where John says good-bye to Sam and Dean. His “can we not fight” plea is heart-wrenching. I also think that Jeffrey has never been more beautiful than in this scene.

Also on my list would be his two appearances on Weeds. In The Nethers, for obvious reasons *grin*, but I love Free Goat to bits, too. The way he talks to Shane (“You’re totally weird – but you’re awesome!”; “To me you are the best, dude. You are the amazing, unbelievable Shane Botwin!”) and all his other scenes on this episode just touch me in a way that I find it hard to explain.
Makes me think of my nephew, who is weird, awesome, amazing and unbelievable, too. *sniff*

I love all of the Supernatural and Grey’s Anatomy episodes that he was in but if I had to pick my favorites it would be Loosing My Religion from GA and from Supernatural–In My Time Of Dying.

I adore this man and enjoy everything he has been in.

I love In My Time of Dying too. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is great in this, J2 are great and so is Frederick Lehne. Along with Devil’s Trap it’s my favourite Supernatural episode.

I agree with you on Devil’s Trap. Evil is hot:) I’d been watching Supernatural from the first episode and thought Jeffrey as John was wonderful, but Devil’s Trap is probably where I actually first noticed Jeff!

I saw In My Time of Dying the other day and that scene is a standout. It’s heartbreaking, beautiful and so poignant. And his speech to Dean. Just amazing.

As for Weeds, the scene with Shane is my favourite scene from Weeds too – where he’s just being this awesome dad to his kids. Just further proof of what a wonderful actor Jeffrey is.

And yes, In The Nethers is one to watch over and over:)
