For all Jeffrey Dean Morgan fans, whether they’re Denny fans or not:-)

We want to take the time today to remember the 5th anniversary of the passing of Dennison “Denny” Duquette, 1970 to 2006.

Denny dies 5 years ago today at Seattle Grace Hospital, due to complications from a heart transplant.

He is survived and lovingly remembered by his former fiancee, Dr. Isabel “Izzie” Stevens, his parents and most of all by the thousands of fans who still miss him and mourn his passing.

Denny was a Marine Biologist and lived a full life, but sadly, romantic love eluded him until it was too late. But just weeks before his death he found happiness with Izzie and the two were engaged.

Denny left Izzie his $8.7 million inheritance, who used the money to found The Denny Duquette Memorial Centre, a free clinic at Seattle Grace.

Happy 45th Birthday to Jeffrey Dean Morgan! I posted a few candids from the Peace, Love and Misunderstanding set. They’re heavily watermarked and lo res, but JDM is looking pretty awesome. Seeing these makes me even more anxious to see this movie!

Most of you probably don’t remember I did a user survey a few months back, asking what you wanted here on the site. I haven’t had time to follow up on it until now.

The most surprising and overwhelming response was for fan contributed pieces. This is a great idea! Not only do I want this site to be inclusive and welcome all fans, but hey, if someone wants to help me out, I’m all in!

And some of you may know I am quite enamored of tumblr as of late. So here’s what I was thinking – send me your favourite Jeffrey Dean Morgan artwork, whether it’s a photo manip, video, gif or whatever. It doesn’t have to be something you created. If you have a favourite youtube video, send me the link and we’ll credit the creator. Let’s keep it family friendly though!

A couple of times a week or so, depending on how many I get, I’ll post  here and cross post to tumblr. Or maybe just post it to tumblr, since it seems to be made for these sorts of posts.

And I have another idea for the tumblr site.  The Top 5 JDM Photos. I’ll do a selection of fan faves and my choice. So send me your favourite Jeffrey Dean Morgan photos and I’ll include them in our Top 5. Again, depending on how it goes, we may do this a couple of times a week. And maybe we’ll move our Why I Love Jeffrey Dean Morgan to the tumblr page.

A couple of awesome Jeffrey Dean Morgan fans are raising money for Donate JDM by selling amazing goods in their etsy and Zazzle shops. So check out their shops, do some shopping, and know that your money goes to help dogs in need.

Lea Stewart is selling bags using upcycled fabrics. Check her shop out for some awesome accessories. All proceeds from sales will be divided between Donate JDM and the West Volusia Humane Society in Florida.

A large portion of all sales will be donated to Donate JDM. So go get a shirt, some jewellery and help out some needy dogs.
