So does anyone want to play Six Degrees of Jeffrey Dean Morgan? There’s not anything really new in the fandom, so who’s up for it?
Here are some rules:
1.) I’ll post the person and how many degrees he or she is from JDM. For example, Paul Walker. JDM to Jensen Ackles is one degree, Jensen Ackles to Jessica Alba in Dark Angel is 2 degrees and Jessica Alba to Paul Walker in Into the Blue is 3 degrees.
2.) I’ll use anything from JDM’s IMDB, including guest appearances, but not unreleased movies. So no All Good Things, Taking Woodstock or Days of Wrath. The Accidental Husband and Live! are included, since they’ve been released in most of the world.
3.) For the other person, I will only use released movies and TV shows in which they were part of the cast. No guest appearances. For example, if Hillary Swank was on an episode of Two and a Half Men, that doesn’t count.
Let’s try not to use IMDB. I’ll use easy and well known examples.
So to start, Robert Downey Jr in 3 degrees.

So I have nothing to do so many things to do I don’t know where to start, I started thinking about how the Comedian looks throughout the Watchmen movie. He seems to age at an inconsistent rate.
Here he is assassinating John Kennedy (Age 39). No costume (a bit obvious for an assassination), but rocking the all black:

Here he is at the Minuteman meeting where he’s confronted by Sally for talking to Laurie (Age 42). Only 3 years gone by. Still looking good:

In Vietnam (Age 47) Sideburns a bit longer, but still looking looking sexy. Must be the warm tropical climate.

Just before the passing of the Keene Act (Age 53) The last six years have been tough, but still just some classy grey and still looking amazing in that costume!

And at his death (Age 61) Wow! The years have not been kind, but still very hot, in a Sugar Daddy sort of way.

I got my American Library Association poster!
I asked Jenn from jdmfans to order one for me since the ALA won’t ship to Canada, and she ended up sending it as a gift! How cool is that?
So thanks Jenn:)

And the onslaught of Watchmen merchandise begins. I’ve sorted through it to bring you the best of the best selection of Comedian merchandise. Yes, this is the best. I don’t mind movie merchandise tie- ins. Fox’s millions and millions has to come from somewhere. But when it’s just so ugh…
The really nice stuff is at the end…
You know what would be weird? If all the actors from Watchmen had these. Like if Jeffrey Dean Morgan kept notes in a Comedian journal or had multiple sets of the coasters and only used the Comedian ones.
There’s also some interesting collectibles at The School of Jeffrey Dean Morgan, including a bizarre mouse/bear/human/hybrid Comedian doll which is disturbing… And please say hi to the headmistress for me.
Soon to be seen in parents’ basements everywhere:

From The Watchmen Pottery Barn Collection, a lovely set of coasters

It changes colour when you add hot liquid. I’m not even going there…

And if these look like they didn’t put any effort into them:

From Amazon:

And from the good folks at Hot Topic, clothing for your inner Emo:

Of course leave it to the talented group at etsy to come up with something I’d actually wear. A Comedian tee:

Awesome tote bag:

Or tee:

And another tee:

Thanks to Carl for the first batch of merchandise.
