Is there still hope Jeffrey Dean Morgan fans will see The Resident in 2011? The UK film magazine Empire has a small story in their latest issue about the film. So hopefully this means at least a UK release is planned.
Psychodoodle! I like that.

The Brittany Foundation, which you know is the beneficiary of all your Donate JDM donations, is involved in a contest to be featured in a movie called Smitty, starring the amazing Peter Fonda. The movie is about a boy who adopts a dog from a shelter.
First off, I hate these contests that make charities compete for money or another prize, they ALL deserve a prize! But someone has to win…
When I first heard about this they were in first place, but when I checked last night they were way down in the pack! They’re at 172 votes, and I was voter 170, and that was weeks ago. So help them out and go vote for them. All you need is a valid email address.
You can vote for The Brittany Foundation by clicking the picture:

And this is the prize – their poster featured on the wall of the animal shelter in the movie:

So go vote!!

ETA: Okay I found another description that combines the 2 plots. I’m just going to link to it since it’s a lot more descriptive than the synopsis I posted. And it seems the script was re-written by the new writer listed on IMDB.
Scene magazine plot description for The Courier
I checked IMDB and it looks like there’s a change in the plot of The Courier. It also lists a new writer who wasn’t announced before. This is what the IMDB now says:
An unsuspecting courier has been the messenger between terrorist cells. Unfolding a plot to bomb a building he teams up with a cop and uses his knowledge of the Big Apple to stop the bombing.
This is the description we saw last week:
The story centers on a courier (Dean Morgan) who has taken on improbable missions and never missed a drop. He’s hired to deliver a briefcase to a notorious underworld figure that can’t be found. The courier finds himself pursued by corrupt cops, double-crossing feds and rival crime bosses.
So which description is the correct one? Which one do you prefer?

If you were hoping to see Jeffrey Dean Morgan in those cute brown UPS shorts, you’re out of luck ladies! This is a different kind of courier. JDM will play “a courier who is tasked to deliver a briefcase to a “notorious underworld figure” that has gone into hiding and is persued by cops, federal agents and criminals.”
And he’ll get an Executive Producer credit for the movie. Filming starts later this month in Louisiana.
Here’s an early poster from when Adrien Brody was cast. They’ve got the shoes right!

And though there’s been no official word on a co-star, buzz has it that the Halliburton Elite is the frontrunner.

ETA: Two hi res images

Thanks to Chase Crawford Online for these.
After only one day of filming we’ve got even more pictures of Jeffrey Dean Morgan from the set of Peace, Love and Misunderstanding! These don’t look like they reveal much of anything, so I’ll post them here.
I’m going to post them full size, so just click Continue to see all the rest of them.
There are 15 in total.
I’m posting these for the benefit of fans who want to keep up with JDM’s career and am only posting pics I think don’t reveal any important details. If anyone associated with the production wants these photos removed, please contact me at http://bit.ly/c6fUVL
