So I’ve been counting down my 10 favourite Watchmen moments in anticipation of the DVD release on Tuesday ( I just received mine – it was on my desk when I came into work!).
So what’s number 5? It’s only one picture, but it definitely got the fangirls all hot and bothered when it was released. It’s the Comedian, looking very hot, very sexy and disturbingly attractive in his element in Vietnam 1970.
Tight leather, a pornstache and a flamethrower? What’s not to love?
Jeffrey Dean Morgan as The Comedian in Vietnam 1970
The cast of Watchmen were on a lot of magazine covers leading up to the Watchmen release. But while all lead cast had at least one cover on a mainstream magazine, there was none featuring Jeffey Dean Morgan.
So what gives with that? (We’re still waiting for the GQ cover and photo spread, Conde Nast!)
They were usually the same image, but who cared? They were still fun to see. Hey, any new pictures of JDM in that leather bondage-like costume were great to see.
These covers are definitely Jefftastic and that’s why they come in at Number 7!
The EW Comic Con Special Issue and the first shots of Jeffrey Dean Morgan as the Comedian after the inital shot in March 2008!
The Empire cover September 2008
One of six collector’s EW issues, this one featuring Jeffrey Dean Morgan as the Comedian!
And the Brazillian magazine SET, this one part of a collector’s set featuring the cast of Watchmen.
On February 28 Jeffrey Dean Morgan and the cast of Watchmen attended Wonder Con in San Francisco to discuss Watchmen and show an exclusive clip. So not only did we learn a lot more about Watchmen, we also were treated to some great new pics of Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Including this very WTH? moment with the “alternate” spelling of his name!
So that’s what makes Jeffrey Dean Morgan and the Watchmen cast attending Wonder Con my #8 Watchmen moment.
Remember, Kris at the Laughing Vixen Lounge is still donating a part of her sales to charity. Since Donate JDM has wrapped up for this year, she is assisting "A Dog's Life" Shelter in raising money. This charity is supported by Jared Padalecki and fundraising is being organized by Support Supernatural, a site that raised lots of funds for charity.
