Jeffrey Dean Morgan in The Resident – Same Trailer, Better Quality!

Someone has posted a better version of the first trailer for Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s The Resident. We’ve seen this before, taped from someone’s TV. This is a much better version!

This movie looks great and looks like a great role for JDM. Hopefully we’ll see it released this year.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan & The Losers Behind the Scenes and more Losers interviews

Here’s some great new video . The first is a great behind the scenes video from the filming of The Losers. Nothing too spoilerish. The second is another very interview with Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Zoe Saldana and Idris Elba and a Clay teaser trailer.

And a new Jeffrey Dean Morgan still from The Resident.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan on Craig Ferguson, The Resident trailer and more Losers video

An update on the JDM Fansite conference call – Alicia from WB was nice enough to send me an invite, but unfortunately I made plans I can’t get out of now.  You can submit questions if you want though,  to Jenn at Jeffreydeanmorganfans.com with the following email  losers@jeffreydeanmorganfans.com.

And Jeffrey Dean Morgan will be on Craig Ferguson on Thursday April 22.  His birthday! These two are quite funny together so it should be a great interview.  Hopefully there will be more media appearances.

And someone on Youtube has a trailer for The Resident. The quality is pretty bad – It was included on the Blu Ray DVD for Paranormal Activity in the UK and someone taped it off their television. There’s not a lot of JDM in the trailer. But Bloody Disgusting news reports Hammer is still looking for a US distributor. That’s not good news. Hopefully we’ll see it shortly.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan on The Losers, The Resident and Daddy Winchester

JDM talks about The Resident (from Fear.net)

Jeffrey Dean Morgan may be best known to genre fans for his role in Watchmen (pictured above), but that could soon change with the release of The Resident, a horror thriller in which he stars alongside Hilary Swank and Christopher Lee, about a creepy, well, resident. It’s part of the first wave of films from the newly reincarnated British horror studio Hammer Films.  At WonderCon this weekend to promote another kind of thriller, Warner Brothers’ The Losers, Morgan gave us an idea of what to expect when he checks in with The Resident.

“The Resident with Hilary Swank,” he said, “It’s Hammer Films’ comeback. I don’t know if you know Hammer Films, but they did all the Dracula‘s, the Christopher Lee movies back in the [day]. So in thirty years this will be the first movie back, and I play a really creepy dude in that movie. It’s beyond creepy. I saw a rough cut of it a couple of months ago, and it’s super creepy. Even for me to watch it, I was like, “Who is that guy, man? I do not want to hang out with that dude!”

As for what draws him to his increasingly edgy roles, Morgan told us, “Well, the first thing you look for is probably good writing, and then you see who else is attached to it. There are certain directors, there’s certain actors. The good writing’s kind of the first thing that comes. And then the people that gather around. The best people I can work with I want to work with. And that’s how I make decisions. So we’ll see what happens in the future.”

And there’s another full length video of The Losers panel.
